achilles tendinitisI havehad achilles tendinitis for some time. I run 3 mi. 3 or 4 x a week, I have cut back. But I haven't comepletely stopped. I know I need to. But I am baffled by the pain seeming most acute when I get out of a car after driving for more than 15 or so minutes. I find myself nearly limping for awhile before the pain eases up and I can resume an almost normal pace. Why is that?
Re: Re: achilles tendinitisYou may just have plantar fasciitis which you can read more about under the heel pain section of podiatrychannel.com. Heel lifts should help a little but you need to make sure you are strecthing before and after activity as well as before you get out of bed in the morning.
