Achilles Tendonitis ? Do I have it?

Post a new topicby airyfairy1973 on Fri Nov 16, 2007 4:36 pm

During the summer i developed severe burning pain in my heels when i got out of bed in the morning...after a few mins standing, i was able to move and the pain subsided within minutes. After a couple of months, i noticed the pain after i had been sitting down for a while as well.

Is this achilles tendonitis?

Can it be caused by wearing low flip flop style shoes (i lived in them during the summer months)?

Does weight have anything to do with the problem (I could do with losing a few pounds)

I appreciate any help

Dr. Orellana
