Ankle PainI am not really sure how to describe my problem. Initially I thought I had Achilles Tendonitis but after reading a few things about it, I'm not so sure. On both sides of the Achilles Tendon, it hurts to point my toes down, especially when I wear high hill shoes. I only wear them on Sunday and wear tennis shoes all other days. It seems the pain should occur when I point my toes up which causes the tendons to stretch, but mine hurt when I point my toes down. I started foot and ankle exercises hoping it will help. I just hope I'm not doing more harm than good. There doesn't seem to be swelling or redness in the area, only tightness. Hope to hear comments or suggestions. Thanks, JJW
Re: Ankle PainI would stay off the high heel shoes for 6 weeks, if that does not work then seeking an evaluation by a podiatrist would be a good idea, good luck
