Hi,

I have not had the burning in my toe except after a neuroma surgery (temporaily). It felt like it was on fire. So, from my patient perspective it sure sounds like a nerve causing it. I get the cramping - it is so awful. Have you been to a podiatrist or orthopedic to check out your feet? If so, perhaps a neurologist could help identify it more specifically. My cramping is from : 1) neuromas 2) poor foot structure- metarsalgia etc. I hope this helps some. So sorry I can't offer more.
