Cortisone shots?

Post a new topicby CrysSimpRNtoBE on Thu Nov 19, 2009 9:34 pm

Has any one had good results with the cortisone shots? I hurt so bad on a daily basis I am willing to try just about anything.

My doctor told me that he didn't recommend them in this area because it may weaken the bone structure and result in a break. The physical therapist has been using hybresis patches with cortisone instead. I honestly don't know whether it is helping or not. I am still having pain, and from reading the posts on this forum, it sounds like this is going to be a life-long problem.
