Is this achilles tendontis?

Dear Dr. I am a female,38, I don't know it is my problem or not. I have seen many Dr's a physical rapist 1year. Nothing seems to work. I can hardly walk,my heels mostly right one so painful. I have always danced hs on my feet in heels n, 3years ago I injured it playing basketball a few hrs. my dad unsupportive shoes because it not a planned thing.I cannot st long at all can't do any work I used to do on my feet. I have always been up down in weight still stayed active. I am no active now because of pain. I have had x-rays, mri seen a neurologist no nerve damage has occurred. I want to walk again so very bad! I used to ga bfoot all time, I can't now. Please can I do ? Is it achilles Tend? do I do next? Is re some kind of athrascopic surgery to find out even though I don't want surgery, I'll do anything. Pleas help me!!

It does not sound like achilles tendinitis because the pain seems to be on the sole of your foot rather than the back of the ankle. There are strutures like the plantar fascia or posterior tibial tendon that may have been damaged. You should be seen by a podiatrist for a thorough examination. Bring your MRI's because they also show muscle damage that may have been overlooked in the past. Good luck and please write back if you have any further questions.
