I am a 55 yr old woman. 2 week ago I bowling I do 2 times a week have 3 years, I came back from my turn at bowling felt severe pain in my right foot up outside from heel to my calf. I finished game went home. Unable to walk 2 days n pain better tried to bowl again pain worse. I have not bowled last 1 1/2 weeks it is getting better. I can walk a little out pain it feels stiff. Do I need to see a doctor or can I just continue to let it heal n go back to bowling?

You probably should see a podiatrist to be on the safe side. It sounds like you may have injured the peroneus muscles which you can view in the anatomy section of podiatrychannel.com. Although the injury is resolvingm, it is important to try and prevent it from reoccurring in the future. A podiatrist will be able to help you with this. Good luck and please write back if you have any further questions.
