I have a small painful lump on the arch of my right foot. What are some of the possible causes of this?

It is probably a fibroma which is a benign growth that can ocur on the soles of teh feet. However, you should see a podiatrist tohave it propelry diagnosed and treated. Since it is painful, you should have it examined in the near future to make sure it is nothing more serious.
