PLEASE HELP - DESPERATEHi Everyone,
I'm in a mess. Any information you can share is deeply appreciated. I had one of those alchol injections for a neuroma in my foot. Before the injection I had some tightness by the middle toe (from a prior surgery that did not go well). After the injection the tightness got SEVERE and is now still SEVERE. I told him - not in any way that would suggest blame on him - but just describing what happened. He says "Statistically it cannot happen - impossible" This is unfortunate, because his denial is not going to help my situation any. So because of his denial - I turned down anymore shots. If I had known that was perhaps something to expect - and told if temp or permanent - I could better assess if I wanted further shots. It's so bad I can't keep my shoe on more than 30 seconds or so - and winter will soon be here. Has anyone else had toe tightness from a shot? (I did read through the prior postings on alcohol injections - on this board and another - and found one person whose dr. said the shots can do that) Yet, I'm not seeing too much about it. Any info. is appreciated. Thanks very much.
