Achilles Tendonitis

I have a tender spot about the size of a dime on my heel. It never built up a tough skin like the heels usually do. I asked the dermatologist what it was and he did a biopsy on a portion of that skin. He told me the result was that the smooth muscle had a benign abnormal growth on it. He said if it bothered me too much, a podiatrist could remove it. It wasn't tender until he messed around with it doing the biopsy. Has anyone every heard of this condition before?
