I broke my left ankle on October 30, 2008. My boxer dog knocked me down and I broke it in 2 places. I had to call 911 because I was outside down an embankment. I had surgery the following week and didn’t walk on it until last week, December 15 but I walk with a boot on and boy does it hurt today. I’m so glad I’m gaining my independence now. and I have a whole new respect for the handicap.
