Why we twist the ankle?? What kind of "twist" is the most comon??? Usually what bones can be injuried in a ankle twist??

It is actually the ligaments and tendons that are injured when the ankle Is twisted. On occasion bone damage can occur. Most commonly the the ankle rolls over putting pressure and stretch on the ligaments and tendons on the outside (lateral) of the ankle.
