Foot Pain & Swelling

I was digging up the front yard on mothers day with a shovel, the dirt was very hard and when I was finished could hardly walk on the foot that kept kicking the shovel. My foot is still swollen and very painful on the top just below the outer ankle bone. Feels like a muscle or maybe a tendon. I have tried soaking it and Ice. I put an ice pack on it last night and it is more swollen today. Please help as my daughters wedding is 4 weeks away and I can't even put my heels on for it.
