Stumping meHi there everyone,
Really need some help on this one. I'm not an athlete or anything. Just an average run of the mill mother. I am currently 8 months pregnant and have other kids in the house. This usually requires me to be on my feet a decent amount of the time or at least in constant movement. What I am experiencing is severe heel pain in my right foot when I walk and it's tender to touch. Plus if I rotate my foot I can feel the pain as though it's just mildly sore. I have had this pain in my left foot before and even before I was pregnant. The only way that I can describe it and this is what pops into my mind when I try walking fully on it. It's as though I've broken something in there and the bone is rubbing against other bone. The location of the pain would lead to Haglund's Deformity but I don't wear high heels. Usually am in a really good pair of sneakers that have extra support. I don't have any noticable bumps or swelling. I do walk around barefoot a lot though and only wear shoes when I must or when I go outside. This wasn't brought on by any injury, just woke up one morning and there was the pain. I understand that I have extra weight on me with the pregnancy but I've only gained 18 pounds during this time frame and it's all been gradual. Plus like I said, I've had this pain before in my left foot when I wasn't pregnant. Any insight would be wonderful since I'm hobbling around the house right now and you add that to the pregnant waddle, well, it's a sight to see I'm sure!
