foot odor & athletes foot

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Aug 27, 2001 4:25 pm

My 16 year old daugher has never had any problems with her feet until she went to camp. She has red and itchiness between her last two toes but it seems to be under control with foot spray which she applies every morning and and night. However, she has bad foot odor when she takes her shoes and socks off and that has never happened before. Any suggestions would help. Thanks!

The odor is caused by the fungus because your daughter has athlete´s foot. It should go away once the fungus does. You may want to take her to see a podiatrist if the redness lasts more than 2-3 weeks however.
