Onychomycosis

Post a new topicby Guest on Wed Mar 13, 2002 5:07 am

My husband has an onychomycosis infection (toe-nails). I'd like to know what the long-term effects are when the infection is not treated and spreads itself through the blood. Are effects like tiredness known and maybe other more severe effects?

The fungus does not spread to the rest of the body through the blood stream. It stays localized to the nails so there are no systemic side effects like fatigue.
