peeling feet

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Aug 12, 2002 12:37 am

For about the last 6 months my feet have been peeling. They do not itch or burn. There is no discomfort from it, just meerly the anoyance of it. It is not athlete's foot as I treated it for that and the condition did not change. The balls of my feet and toes just constantly peel. I have tried moisturizers, anti-fungal cream, and soaking them to take off the dead skin. Nothing seems to help. I went to a doctor (at a local health center) and she told me to try wearing different shoes. But that did no good. I am just wondering if there is anything else I might try to cure this condition as it looks gross to people, including myself? Thank you!

You may have a condition such as eczema which needs to be treated with topical medicines that slow the growth of your skin in these areas. You should see a podiatrist or dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis. Have a nice day.
