almost there

Hi everyone. I’ve had brachy on both fourth toes for about 20 years. or at least i noticed it about 20 years ago. i’ve looked at pictures of myself barefoot when i was a child, probably 3 or 4 years old, and my toes look fine. it seems that as my feet got bigger, my toes didn’t. swimming in school was always an issue for me. but i made it through without being detected. when i go to the beach with friends now, i always stay behind until they reach the water or bury my feet ...Read the full article

I tried it once, was not nice, the strap was in the wrong place, some times lifting the short toe up causing pain, sometimes lifting the nail of the short toe, i gave up.

Hello livingwith! Good job! Keep trying! I am 28 years old and I have brachymetatarsia on my left foot (4th toe). I wear strappy heels and even flip flops, all the time. Yes people stare and I just ignore. Now that I know that this problem can actually be corrected, I am looking into getting surgery done. We'll see. I'll keep researching.
