Bunions

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Sep 09, 2002 2:07 am

I had a bunionectomy about 21 months ago, and everything seems to have turned out well until recently. A few weeks ago, I started experiencing pain in the top of my foot, about an inch from the front of my ankle. I can feel a "bump" between the bones, which has mild pain when massaged. Could this be related to the bunionectomy, or a new problem altogether?

It is probably a new problem such as a cyst, a ganglion or a bone spur. However, you should see your podiatrist to be properly diagnosed and treated.
