post bunionectomy swelling

I had bunionectomy on both feet 6 weeks ago. I had no complications afterwards. My problem though is a swelling on the right foot, or maybe is a bone protruding. I went to the Dr and he gave me antibiotics and anti inflamatory tablets with no avail. if there is anybody with a similar experience please let me know how it was treated.
