I had been misdiagnosed with gout as the problem with my feet since 1999. It wasn’t until 2004 I was told I had diabetes ii. Than in 2007 I went to a podiatrist who had ankle braces made for me, than I had another episode and an mri was ordered. That is the only way to determined charcot.
