Jim, my husband has recently been diagnosed with charcot as a result of numerous surgeries from a non-healing diabetic foot ulcer. The podiatrist today mentioned surgery and we are scared to death of another surgery. Crazy -- try to heal a wound -- the wound is almost healed -- now you make another wound? Would you mind sharing what your experience has been with us? My husband is only 47 and desperately fighting to avoid any more surgeries and most of all, to keep his foot!
