Charcot Foot

Can anyone comment on Charcot foot in DM and the effects of trauma (ie: will trauma to this type of foot accelerate or exacerbate or increase the degenerative process of this condition?). THank you

I don't know if you still want comments to this but trauma is a big thing with charcot foot....It will deform and disable a person with charcot foot...I know because it has happened to me twice...make sure you protect your feet...thanks
