Insurance designation

Post a new topicby leFleur on Sun Oct 04, 2009 7:44 pm

Does anyone know why a doctor would not put the 'official' diagnosis of Charcot on my diagnosis forms? I keep seeing broken xxx bones with severe dislocation on my orthopedists forms and my internists when he prescribes pain meds.

My podiatrist is the only one who writes B/L Charcot. Charcot is not that rare is it? Or are they treating each broken bone so that I don't run into the money wall of my insurance?

It is just making my little radar go off in my head...

Thanks for any replies.
