Bunion?

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jun 03, 2001 12:12 pm

Is it possible to have bunions on outer edge of foot as opposed to only on inner side? I have APPEARS to be 2 bunions on OUTER side of my right foot, right at joint of my little toe right next to arch. If se n't bunions (since I thought bunions only occurred on inner side of foot), can tell me y ? Thank- very much.

The term for a bunion on the outside of your foot is a Tailor's bunion or a bunionette. Typically, this is not as painful as a regular bunion but if it is causing you pain, there are many treatment options. You should see a podiatrist so a full examination can be made and a full array of treatment options can be discussed with you. Good luck and if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
