Could you please explain the meaning of "neurofibrosum" in the term heloma neurofibrosum and is it equivalent to a neurofibroma? Thanks. MsPiggy

Neurofibroma and neurofibrosum mean the same thing. It involves a corn where there is believed to be a nerve within the corn since it is very painful. This is not always true however.
