HELP!!!!! I AM NOT QUITE SURE WHAT THEY AREI have been searching for an answer to no avail. I first noticed a slight bump on my HEEL. Then after closer examination I noticed a center to it that was clear. I ignored at first but eventually it got to the point where I couldn't ignore it any longer...It was soooo painful. Then I thought I would get some Corn remover disk and put that on it. It started to shed layers of skin and at one point I almost had it all out (Someone told me just to dig it out)Oh boy the pain. Then out of the blue, I got the same thing on the other foot only it is located in between the HEEL and my Arch. Does anyone know WHAT they are and how I can get RID of them???? I am desperate!
I have never heard of anyone having a corn in the areas that I have them...also, It doesn't have anything to do with a bone!
Re: HELP!!!!! I AM NOT QUITE SURE WHAT THEY AREThere are a couple things these could be. First, they may be fibromas which are normally located on the bottom of your foot and can be quite painful. It could also be a fat plug that has risen up under the skin. These are normally not painful however. Finally, since they are occurring on both feet, you need to be concerned that they may be due to a systemic disease. In any case, you need to see a podiatrist to be properly diagnosed and treated. I would not suggest treating these with corn removers.
