Seed Corns / Plantar Corn

Post a new topicby Guest on Fri Jul 05, 2002 8:04 pm

I have a hard corn/callus on the ball of my left foot. Length of this problem is approximately 15 years. I periodically dig out the core yet it constantly returns. I would like to get rid of this painful corn permanently.

There is scar tissue in the skin in this area so it will never heal on its own. You probably need surgery to elipse the corn from the area and probably have a skin flap cover the deficit so healthy skin can grow there. Have a nice day and please write back if you have any further questions.
