THICK SKIN ON TOPS OF TOES

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Feb 04, 2002 5:31 pm

I have thick, red, callous like pads on the front parts of my toes just below the nails. When my feet get wet, the pads turn white and peel off easily. Ive tried using toe guards to alleviate some of the friction while wearing shoes (and excersicing) but the pads continue to grow. What can I do to get rid of these ugly growths?

Although they may be callouses, they may also be a form of eczema or psoriasis that needs to be treated. Therefore, you should see a podiatrist so you can be diagnosed properly and given the correct treatment. Have a nice day and please write back if you have any further questions.
