What does an MRI of the IAC's show?
I know they were checking for inner ear problems that could be causing dizziness; but my question is what, if anything, does this MRI show results on besides that you do/don't have inner ear problems?

MRI’s of the IAC's generally include study of the adjacent brain if not the entire brain looking for all the conditions that can crop up such as tumors (benign and malignant), cysts, aneurysms, and other vascular problems, stokes and the like. The inner ear can be evaluated for tumors or more likely inflammatory problems.
