I started having a lot of pain in my wrists and shoulders back in November of 2007. I’m 21 years old, so I tried to disregard it, hoping it had something to do with some stressful events in my life at that time and that it would go away soon. Wow! What a sad story. You are so young to have to have this kind of long term pain. I am so happy that you found a doctor that is willing to listen and help you. Thank goodness it wasn't lupus, because although fibromyalgia is hellish, it is not deadly. I hope it all turns out to be temporary, and wish you the best of luck.
