Hot Spots!?!

Post a new topicby ShayB on Sat May 24, 2008 6:28 pm

Have you experienced hot spots? My forearms get red on top, feel sunburned, and radiate heat! My face also gets really red and hot.

I'm not sure if this is as a result of an RX I'm taking or if it's a menopausal issue...

Anyway... Has anyone working for the federal government been successful in obtaining worker's compensation for their FMS that began as a result of a work-related issue? What about disability retirement before having 25 years or the minimum age?

Thank you and here's hoping that your days are happy and pain-free! =)

i have that problem all the time with my face. It literly looks like a sun burn on my cheeks because they actually get hot, and I can feel the heat behind my eyes.. when this happens shortly after I feel it on my arms and my chest.. Usually I have found that taking a shower helps calm it. But I dont know what causes it.

My hot spots are very similar in the way they occur, step-by-step with face, arms, chest...

I have begun using Omega 3 triple (fish oil and 2 others) and Max Strength Estroven and MAY be feeling a difference... will update you on status.

Thank you for letting me know it is a real issue and that I'm not just a little crazy! :-)
Best of luck to you and your future battle with this terribly invasive disease!

its no problem at all. your not going crazy.. whats weird is I have been going through that in particular since I want the puberty. My mom said it was just nerves, but I honestly believe it has something to do with fibro. I havent got my offical diagnosis of it yet, but I dont have a doubt that it is that. I have every symptom, and I a few years ago i went for a full body massage. What was soppose to relax me just left me all cramped up and in pain. The lady that did the massage told me back then to talk to my doctor about Fibro. I didnt think anything of it, and have let it go, but back in May i started hurting real bad in my back and legs, and it has spreed out with this flue like ache. I have been put through every test imaginable at this point only for my family practitioner and neurosurgen not be able to do anything for me because they cant find anything. I have an appointment on the 4th of next month with a fibro center here in birmingham to get the official diagnosis. I can already tell you by the tender spot test I have almost all of them. I can bairly tolerate being touched on bare skin most days. it hurts Well sorry for ranting. Just want you to know your not insain..LOL.. I hope the suppliments work for you. the only thing that helps me is a hot shower.
