Ive had fibro for 13 years.ive been fighting for SSI for about 4 years.If you have fibro would you reply with your story about what fibro has done to your life and how you cant work any more[if you dont] and what you experince on a day to day basses the pain the fitigue and if you drive or not i would be greatful for your time and story GOD BLESS YOU ALL>YOU WILL BE IN OUR PRAYERYS

I have other problems (RSD and a bad back) my job will let me drive but will not get into that!

My husband is on SSI and we did get a diabilaty attorney on the case. They will not charge anything until you go to court (If it gets that far- they know how to complete the forms in a way that maybe SSI will pass) Anyway, the attorneys can only receive a certain amount from your settlement if you win your SSI case. (This is set by law and do not remember the amount) Your SSI will go back to the day you were considered disabled!!! Additionally, since it appears that you have been disabled for four years, you should not have to wait for medicare to kick in (if you need it).
