Re: Perirectal Abscess leading to FistulotomyThank you so much for your informative description of your fistula experience...I have a fistula surgery scheduled for this Friday in the Phila. area and have had sleepless nights all week. I have been worrying about the recovery from fistulotomy - and it sounds like I might be over-stressing out at this point. I'll be sure to post my experience as well. Hope you're feeling great these days.
Re: Perirectal Abscess leading to FistulotomyI want to say thank you for posting this comment. I just found out today that my Dr recommended the fistulotomy and a colonoscopy. I am only 34 yrs old and very scared to death about it. I fear the worse but after reading your article I found a little bit of hope. Dont get me wrong I am still very scared but have a little hope. Please continue to share your experience in this forum if you can because Lord knows I can use all the advice or experiences I can right now. God Bless you for the courage for sharing your experiences.
Sincerely, Ruben
Re: Perirectal Abscess leading to FistulotomyI was wondering how your recovery is going. I just visted my colon/rectal surgeon this past week and was told I too needed a fistulectomy. Even though I have yet to schedule the procedure, I am scared to death. If you have the time to share your experience, I would truley be greatful.
Sincerely Ruben
