Fistulotomy

hi am having fistulotomy surgery in week n half..on very superficial fistula.

surgeon says it does not involve any sphincter muscle but will lay it open to heal.
if it does go into muscle he will use surgical glue.

am scared as hell 1. am scared of loss of control after
2. how long does it take to heal?
3. am travelling overseas 2.5 weeks after & surgeon says I should be fine.
4. do you have stitches for this?
5. are you left with big gapping wound? :(

have read some of the forum, but its making me extra nervous ass surgery petrifies me!
am 40, I want to do my karate after, all the normal things with my kids too etc...
