Extreme pain on top of both feetFirst my left foot started to swell on top, went to Dr., they thought it was Gout. Gave me an inflammatory and it seemed to help the swelling, although I still have the pain. Then I ran my right foot into a hedge trimmer that was on the ground over a month ago. Now the top of my right foot hurts so bad I can hardly stand it at times. There is no bruise, welling and it didn't break the skin. The pain spreads up my ankles into my calves. When I walk, it feels like there is not enough skin to bend my foot and I walk flat footed vs heel to toe. When I stay off of it for a certain length of time and then get up to walk, the pain is excruciating. I actually whence out loud with pain, which is embarrassing at times. Shoes or no shoes...there is no comfort. There is a constant throb and stabbing pains.
I would appreciate any information about this. The doctors apparently are stumped and keep prescribing an inflammatory.
