foot pain mostly on heel and outside

Post a new topicby Kristine on Tue Dec 18, 2007 10:21 pm

I have had this problem with my foot-- upon standing after prolonged sitting or waking in the morning or walking barefoot, my foot experiences extreme pain. Not pins and needles, I could almost deal with that. No numbness or continuation into the toes. Wearing active shoes with insoles will help, I find myself wearing shoes all day due to this. I do have a preexisting condition of an abducted right hip, but it is only slight. I am not sure if my slight difference in my L and R hip could cause this? However, I have had this hip issue all my life, I am 35 yrs old, so why now?? Any insight or useful comments would be appreciated and thank you!
