Morton's Neuroma

Post a new topicby ecomputerman on Thu Jan 22, 2009 1:51 pm

I seem to have the symptoms of MN. I have severe pain only of the 3rd and 4th toes. However, the pain is most severe during the night. I often wake up with a terrible pain in those toes. The pain will go away after some massaging. Any ideas or comments?

I, too, have MN and have for 18 months. Am currently taking steroid injections but don't have a lot of faith they're going to work. After doing much research I am going to proceed with Alcohol injections, at least four of them. Please be advised that you cannot follow what the postings dictate on this site as you are reading only negative results. The injections produce a success rate of 87%. Should you be one of the unlucky ones that it didn't work on then surgery is still an option. Statistically, that is also a viable option. The success rate is very high. I have only recently learned, thru much research, that we don't have to live with this awful pain. Yours is new so try the steroid injections first. Good luck!!
