pain in navicular area

Post a new topicby sixmile on Wed May 20, 2009 11:11 pm

I saw an orthop.surgeon on another matter (post op hip replacement) and mentioned I had long standing pain in the area of the Lt. Navicular? bone. He said it was probably a bone spur and said he could palpate it. He mentioned surgery as a remedy but said there are other approaches as well. He advised to see my family Dr. and he would make any neccessary investigations or referrals.

My question is : what are the other treatments and what is the rehab from surgery like,,,Thanks
