Swelling on bottom of foot

I have a swollen area on the bottom of my foot. It's next to the arch in the middle. Kind of looks like a hernia LOL. At first it was just a lump that felt like something was in my shoe. Now its tender and a little more swollen. I'm not able to find anything like this in any searches. I've been icing and elevating but can not get in to my Dr for another week. Any suggestions?
