Tightening of the nerve in the big toe

I have been having tightening/cramp of the nerve in my big toe that surrounds the area of the ball of the foot and my first two toes. I get it a lot when i move my foot around like when i stretch, curl my toes, or tiptoe. When i get these spasms i can't move the foot and curl up in pain for those few minutes. The pain get so unbearable at times that i just scream. Is there a massage, or vitamins that i could take to get rid of this pain? Please help me.
