Foot Pain

I'm a very active person and recently have started having pain in my foot that has only worsened over the last few weeks. It is my left foot, the pain starts at the arch goes around the side of my foot to my achilles tendon and on to the other side of my foot. I do have some pain in the calf of my leg. Does anyone know what is causing this and should I go to the doc?

Thanks any info would be greatly appreciated.
