Foot Pain

Okay, my feet has been an issue for me and my right is getting worse than my left. From the time that I put my feet on the floor when getting out of bed, they hurt (especially the right). However the right hurt worse trying to work the stiffiness out. The pain is midfoot. After getting the stiffiness out, the pain is dull. I dare not stay on my feet for too long because then, I have to sit down to get some relief. Just a week ago, I was at the store with my sister. My feet were already hurting but moreso, my right foot. I had to rush my sister to hurry up so I can sit down. That's how bad my feet hurts. Can't stand long. I am now to the point where I am ready to see a foot doctor mainly for my right foot as it is giving me too much trouble daily. What is this midfoot problem? Never had any problem with my arches. Its not a shoe problem as the pain persist with or without shoes on. Just started with this problem about a month ago and in my right foot, it continues to get worse and I am afraid that my left will get worse too as the problem progress. Have anyone had a similar problem?? Any ideas is greatly appreciated. I just dont want to go to the doctor and let them give me some cortisone shot to relieve the pain when the problem is still there.
