I was diagnosed with a high level of uric acid which caused my right ankle to swell the size of a football for intervals of two weeks. My doctor advised me to refrain from eating red meat and drink alcohol. Today i can say that for about six months my ankle has not risen because i adhered to his advise. I can now comfortably walk and wear shorts (lol).
