Big toe pain

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jun 03, 2001 12:12 pm

Six weeks ago I began a walking program to get in shape. About 3 weeks into program, I experienced some pain in my big toe. I rested a couple of days pain went away. I resumed walking about a week later I experienced same pain (acute pain at ball of big toe). I again stopped walking. n, out of nowhere, pain in my toe became severe. I went to my GP she put me on 1000mg of Alleve per day. It is now one week later still no improvement. It is painful to walk to have sheets from bed rest on it. I have altered my walking to minimize pain. joint between metatarsle phelange is VERY sensitive. do think could be problem?
