I have severe pain in the Joint of my Big Toe.
I have a trobbing pain now for 3 Weeks and I am unable to Put Presseur on that side of my Foot and find Walking extremely Difficult.
The pain is not on the very bottom of the joint but on the outside at a particular spot.

In the past Anti-inflamitory drugs have taken the swelling and pain away but these dont seem to work this time.
My Doctor says thats it is not Gout because its not Red enough in colour.
I have not been tested for Gout other than visually.
Please Help

Gout normally does not last three weeks either. You probably do not have gout but you may have severe arthritis in your big toe joint that needs to be treated. Please see a podiatrist so you can be properly diagnosed. Have a nice day and please write back if you have any further questions.

Thank you for taking the time re: my question on Gout.

The situation now after 3 weeks is that the tenderness is just gone but the Joint is now more stiff and hurts when I bend my foot and put full pressure on it while walking.
Any advise how I would locate a Podiatrist in Ireland?
