I have inflammation of the middle toe and the smaller one next to it at the very end. It comes and goes, but lasts days or weeks at a time. What conditions could cause this?

Honestly, there are many conditions that could cause this including eczema, athlete's foot, or simply wearing shoes that are too small. Therefore, in order to be properly diagnosed, you need to see a podiatrist for a thorough examination.
