Hammertoes/Claw Toes

I had hammertoe surgery on three toes 2nd, third and forth toe on my left foot about a month and half ago and I notice that the "redness or darkness" on the toes does not goes away. is this normal? is it permanent or it will go away? it looks very bad as my skin is very light and they look awful, they really stand out!! I need help , is there any thing I can do? thank you.
