alternatives to night splintsAs I said in another message about orthotics just a few minutes ago, I have just recently developed PF in one foot. One of the remedies my podiatrist has prescribed is a night splint. Are you kidding me? This thing is like a flipping ski boot! I couldn't sleep a wink while it was on and it also ripped my sheets. Give me a break! Who can possibly wear one of these things? So my question is this. I found a softer alternative on the web the other day: it looks kind of like an ace-bandage wrap with a velcro strap going from the toes to the calf, holding the foot in the good ol' flexed position that is so good for PF. Is there anything wrong with this softer device? It looks perfect to me. Made by Swedeo. Anyone tried it? Grateful for any responses.
