fibromyalgiaCan fibromyalgia cause heel pain I have other symptoms such as right knee pain, wrist pain, ankle pain and back pain. It started with pain in my right heel. I thought it was due to my job as a kitchen assistant which I have quit now as I can't walk alot because of the pain. Since then I have had pain other places in my body. I'm 36 years old and not overweight.
Also I read that fibromyalgia does not affect the joints yet thats where some my pain is.
Re: fibromyalgiaIt could be fibromyalgia but I would cosider it low on the list of possibilities. It could be a type of arthritis such as rheumatoid or psoriatic. It also could be due to a back problem or one of your legs may be longer than the other causing you to walk and stand slightly tilted leading to pain. Therefore, you really need a full physical to diagnose what is causing your pain.

Re: Re: fibromyalgiaIt's funny you should say about the one leg being slightly longer than the other because my foot pod said that my left leg was slightly longer. She gave me an extra heel pad to put in my right shoe to compensate that but not long after that I got the knee pain so I blamed it on the heel pad and took it out but since then the knee hasn't improved and I have pain in other joints.
I don't know what my leg lengths have got to do with my wrist pain though. Oh well, thanks for your reply.
It could be fibromyalgia but I would cosider it low on the list of possibilities. It could be a type of arthritis such as rheumatoid or psoriatic...
